Blairsville native, Chuck Honaker, served as the Post 7394 Adjutant for 13 years prior to becoming the Commander in 2019. He joined the Army a month after he turned 17 and has served in multiple locations around the world; including, Neckarsulm,Germany; Ft. Lee, Virginia (twice); Seoul, Korea; Baumholder, Germany; Diyarbakir, Turkey and Baghdad, Iraq.

 

Honaker is a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans, a Life Member of the Military Order of Purple Heart, and the Chairman of Joshua's Warriors.

 

Together, he, and his wife Barbara, have 5 adult children.
