David Ueltzen of the Union County Fire Department, station 4 were recognized as the Public Servant Of The Year. Patriots Night Of Lights was held on 9/11/21 at Meeks Park. Ms. Hailey Watkins was nominated at the Post level for Teacher of the Year. Mr. Justin Byers was recognized as the post level selection for the  Smart/Maher VFW National Citizenship Education Teacher program. Mr. Byers is a Marine veteran and currently teaches at the Union County High School. Officer Lockwood of the Union County School Resource Police was nominated at the Post level for Public Servant of the Year. Rebekah Pickelsimer from the Mountain Area Christian Academy was nominated at the Post level for the Patriots Pen scholarship.  On March 3, 2022 Member's of the VFW Post 7394 participated in Sr. Vice Commander David Miller and Trustee 2nd Year Herman Clowney participated in the Hope House annual fundraiser. Kyra Mckechnie was recognized as the 230-24 post level Voice Of Democracy Award winner for Joshua Munoz from Mountain Area Christian Academy was nominated at Post level for the Voice Of Democracy scholarship.
